OCME has renewed the partnership with B&R till 2013

PARMA, 1st September 2009 – The excellent relationship, which has tied OCME to B&R since 2005, has been recently renewed by OCME signing up a supply agreement to exclusively use B&R technologies of Motion Control and HMI for the next 4 years.

OCME S.r.l. is one of the worldwide leaders in the packaging and filling field with a turnover of € 90 Million in the fiscal year 2008 (of 82% export worth) more than 400 employees and over 10.000 machines worldwide installed.

The complete flexibility, reliability and performance of B&R systems: ACOPOS (Motion Control) and Panel PC 700 (HMI), which are completely integrated in Ethernet POWERLINK (an Open Source protocol implemented on the most widespread standard Ethernet chip for the automatic machines which have deterministic and real-time needs), has enabled to boost technological developments of OCME’s machines dramatically and meet the company mission to reach perfection in packaging.
